Stokes-Forsyth Youth Livestock Club
The Stokes-Forsyth Youth
Livestock Club meets once a month and explores the world of livestock animals through educational presentations and hands-on
experiences at local farms. The Youth Livestock Club encourages youth that are old enough to walk and talk, up to age 20,
to participate regardless of animal experience! You don’t have to own any animals or even own any land in order to
participate!
Meetings focus on meat goats, beef cattle and sheep and are typically held the last weekend of every month. Meetings
also rotate between Stokes and Forsyth County since there are members from both counties. Some meetings are held
indoors (especially in the winter) and others are held at local farms and most involve hands-on activities, fun and
interaction with other animal lovers.
