Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP)
Forsyth County was awarded a grant from the Brookdale Foundation to begin a Relatives
as Parents Program, recognizing that grandparents and other relative caregivers
are very special people, raising special children.
RAPP is an educational and support group for grandparents and relatives who have
become the primary caregiver for their children's children or other relative. In
order to help relatives meet the challenges they face, RAPP will provide services
including caregiver support groups, educational programs, referral services and
