Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels are in the YELLOW range as a more polluted air mass pushed in from the north and caused Particle Pollution concentrations to quickly increase Friday afternoon. These higher concentrations are present today as well as warm, humid conditions continue to cover the region. This high pressure area will slowly creep away from the Triad and move off to the northeast. YELLOW AQI readings will continue but both Ozone and Particle Pollution readings will decrease by Monday and Tuesday. (Bodenhamer)
