2018 Forsyth County Petition Signature Requirements
Number of signatures required for certification of petitions for Unafiliiated and Write-In Candidates (2018 election ONLY)
Effective 01/01/17, the North Carolina General Statutes for Campaign Finance were updated and electronic filing became mandatory for all committees that raise or spend $10,000.00 or more in an election cycle.
The Campaign Finance division of Bipartisan State Board of Elections and Ethics Enforcement has created a document to assist candidates meeting this threshold with the new electronic filing requirements. The document contains information pertaining the new requirement, as well as an FAQ section.
