Parenting Challenges with Dr. Shannon Warden at Walkertown

Dr. Shannon Warden will lead an author’s talk at Walkertown Branch Library on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. She will discuss common family building challenges and provide practical, effective strategies and tools for improving your parenting and home life from her latest book, “The DIY Guide to Building a Family That Lasts.” She will also answer counseling-related questions, drawing from her over 20 years of experience as a professional counselor.

Warden is a Professor of Counseling at Piedmont International University. She previously taught counseling at Wake Forest University and Gardner-Webb University. She has co-authored two parenting books with New York Times best selling author Dr. Gary Chapman. Their latest book is “The DIY Guide to Building a Family That Lasts” (Northfield, 2019).

Warden is a native of the Walkertown area and attended Walkertown Elementary and Middle Schools before attending and graduating from Carver High School in 1992. For more information, visit her website: www.shannonwarden.com.
