GWC is not a program for elite students — anybody can learn to code. Our club will focus the concepts of programming to build an app or website. Join local author, Sheryl Monks, for a fun and informative short story workshop geared towards participants of all ages on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Lewisville Branch Library . This workshop has been postponed and moved due to the treat of inclement weather. The Short Story Contest, which is for writers of all ages, have from now until Wednesday, Oct. 10 to submit their entries to their local library. Winning entries will receive a $100 gift card. Youth of all ages are invited to design a bookmark. Our judges will choose several designs from each grade or preschool age group. Winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed at all Forsyth County Public Libraries. Entries must be submitted no later than 6:00 p.m. on October 5.
