The Forsyth County Public Library Homebound and Institutionalized Department, also known as Adult Outreach, began delivering library materials to customers in 1972. The staff provides special services to customers who are homebound, institutionalized or otherwise unable to travel to one of our library buildings.
With the help of sites such as Google and ask.com, students have become savvy online searchers. But even the most agile Internet searchers find that some questions just don’t produce the right results, leaving them unable to adequately complete their assignments.

All Forsyth County Public Libraries will be closed Monday, Sept. 5th in observance of the Labor Day holiday. All Libraries will re-open Tuesday, September 6th at regular hours.
Area homeschooling families are invited to an overview presentation of dozens of databases available online for free to library cardholders. Sixteen tips for using the library online catalog will also be shared. Come Thursday, September 1st, from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. Bring a bag lunch if you wish.
Book discussions are the heart of On the Same Page. They offer a chance to get together with other readers, share impressions, and be reminded why reading is one of life’s great joys.
