Healthy Living: Recipe Rewind

Katie Jordanhazy, Registered Dietitian, with Novant Health, will teach about healthy eating. Learn all about how to make unhealthy recipes healthy, as well as tasty. Music of India - Free Concert at Walkertown Saturday, October 21

This rare concert of Pure Indian Classical Music is presented by students of Gaurang Doshi and features the sitar and sarod. Doshi is the son of preeminent Indian classical musician Dr. Laxmikant Doshi. Concert is free, musicians will be collecting non perishable food items for Second Harvest Food Bank of Winston Salem. Saturday, October 21, 1 pm at the Walkertown Branch library.


Spooktacular Halloween Blood Drive at Lewisville Branch Oct. 31st 11 am to 3:30 pm

We want to suck your blood! Or at least, the American Red Cross does. Ghouls, goblins, and other monsters with human blood are invited to donate blood to the American Red Cross at the Lewisville Branch Library on Tuesday, October 31st from 11 am - 3:30 pm. Save a human this Halloween and donate. Appointments are preferred. Please call us at 336-703-2940 to make an appointment. Appointments are in 15-minute increments. Walk-ins also welcome.


DanceAbility: Dance Classes for Everyone!

Join us at the Southside Branch every Tuesday evening in November (5:30-6:30 pm) for a dance class that teaches you how to use movement for creative expression and to connect with your community.


Construction at Reynolda Manor Branch

Starting October 16th work will begin on the Reynolda Manor Branch and also include upgrades to the parking lot. Work is expected be complete by the end of November.
