Friends of Central Library spring book sale

Make plans now to visit the Spring Friends of Central Library book sale. Leaf through literally tens of thousands of gently used books, magazines, CDs, records, DVDs and more.There will also be materials given by private donors from other public and academic libraries.

You'll find lots of academic books, classics and many more works of historical interest. Looking or non-English books? We have numerous books on Spanish and other foreign languages.

There are children's book galore, as well as those for teens. Looking for materials on Art and Photography? We have a large selection of both including many signed by the author, including a number signed by celebrities.

Shelves are re-stocked at the end of each day so you'll definitely want to attend all three days of the sale. On Sunday all remaining items are half off or five dollars a bag (excluding special items and electronic media).

All proceeds support the new Central Library including the annual children's summer reading program. For more information call 336 761-0736 or email the Friends.

590 N. Marshall Street (Convenient, free parking on Spruce street near Sixth street---near First Baptist Church children's playground). Sale is located in the lower level of the building on the Marshall street entrance.
