Teen Health

Teens and their parents will both enjoy the specialized Teen Health pages found on the Kids Health web page. Find this page, and other exciting resources for teens by clicking on "Online Resources" from the Library's Home Page. Find the Kids Health page by clicking on the "Health & Medicine" button.

Learning about topics Teens are interested in such as healthy relationships, wellness, nutrition, sports safety, and stress management is easy when there are literally thousands of magazine articles and books to choose from. Many of these resources are available to Teens from their computer by clicking on "Online Resources" from the Library's Home page.

When on the "Online Resources" page, Teens will see bright tabs arranged by subject. These tabs will lead them to groupings of resources that will be obvious destinations for inquiring minds. "Homework & Lifelong Learning" will lead them to age-specific, subject-specific homework help from "Live Homework Help", thousands of eBooks from "eBooks from EbscoHost" as well as foreign language instruction from "Mango Languages". The "Magazines, Newspapers & Journals" tab will lead them to current articles about any subject of interest. Try the "Magazines by Masterfile" database for a good general-interest collection of magazines.

We want this exciting time of development to be as stress-free as possible for our Teens. With the information in-hand to make informed decisions, Teens will grow up remembering that the Library is a source of life-long learning at every life stage.
