On June 7th, Music & Movement will resume and meet every Thursday through July 26th for children ages 0 - 6 and their caregivers. Music lovers, please save the date of Wednesday, July 25th at 11 am for Bluegrass Rocks! with musician Charles Pettee, founding member of the world-traveling Shady Grove Band and a Teaching Artist with the NC Arts Council.
The Library is partnering with Wake Forest Baptist Health to present a year-long series of programs on healthy aging. Programs will take place the second Tuesday of each month in the Central Library Auditorium.
All the submissions have been read and the winners were chosen.
The Forsyth County Public Library is excited to announce the return of our very popular Food for Fines campaign. Donations will be accepted during the month of May. All collected food items will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC to help in the fight against hunger in our community.
The 9,800 square-foot Southside Library is located on a beautiful wooded site at 3185 Buchanan Street in Winston-Salem, NC. The Library serves the southeast section of the city, surrounded by suburbs, a high school, and shopping.
