May's Walkertown Library Morning Tea Book Club selection is Their Eyes Were Watching God by African-American novelist Zora Neale Hurston. This Florida-based novel follows the life of Janie Crawford as she matures from subjugated teenage girl to independent woman during the early 20th century. The book club meets at Walkertown Branch Library on Thursday, May 11th at 11 am. Tea and refreshments will be served.
April brings great programs for Adults at Walkertown Branch. Come to the library and enjoy Coloring for Grown-ups, digitize your old videos and music tapes, watch a movie, create art, solve a crime with a donut, or try a Yoga class. All events at the library are free!
