Festival of Lights is open nightly, Friday, November 16th, 2018 through Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 from 6:00PM to 11:00PM, with the exception of Sunday, December 31, when the show will close at 10:00PM. The Gift Shop will close at 11:00PM Sundays-Thursdays and at 12:00AM on Fridays and Saturdays, with the exception of Sunday, December 31st when it will close at 10:00PM.
Thursdays-Sundays are very popular nights at Festival of Lights! During these nights, long lines and wait times should be expected. Weekends are especially busy and 4-6 hour wait times should be expected. Also, please note that if visitors are not inside the gate by 11PM, they may not get into the show before it closes.
We accept cash or credit cards as payment for entrance to the Festival of Lights. (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only).

Due to safety concerns, riding through Festival of Lights in the back of a pick-up truck or in/on a trailer that is connected to a vehicle is prohibited.
Lowes Foods has brought back the marshmallow cooking experience to Festival of Lights with S'moresville! This long-loved family tradition is located in the Gift Village, right outside the Gift Shop. Lowes will be selling the roasting sticks with either marshmallows or s'mores kits on-site. Visitors to S'moresville may not bring their own sticks or food items for roasting. S'moresville will close each evening at 10PM. S'moresville will be closed on Christmas day.

FOL Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, November 18th, 2018. Lunch will be served at 11:00 am then there is a 12:00 noon shotgun start on the Championship Course with awards immediately following play. The entry fee is $60 per person or $50 for Tanglewood members.
The Souper 5K (Saturday, Nov. 10th) Supporting the Manna Meals soup ministry will be the first event through the Festival of Lights. Join the fun to help feed those in need!
TOAST Walk (Sunday, Nov. 11th) is the perfect event for families, walkers, strollers and wagon rollers through the majestic lights. This event is appropriate for people of all ages and abilities.
Paws in the Park (Monday, Nov. 12th and Tuesday, Nov. 13th) This unique event offers animal lovers the opportunity to bring their four-legged friends with them to Tanglewood Park for a walk through the enchanted holiday light display.
Running of the Lights (Dec. 31st) Start off the New Year with a race through the Festival of Lights at midnight!
Horse-drawn Carriage Rides with our professional staff will take you and up to three guests for a ride through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights. Experience the light show in the comfort of a traditional white carriage drawn by a Percheron horse. Carriage rides are scheduled by reservation only. Call early for reservations while they last.

Tractor-pulled Hayrides View the magic and splendor of Tanglewood's Festival of Lights with your family and friends on one of our tractor pulled hayrides. Holiday hayrides are available for groups of up to 25 people per ride. Hay rides are available by reservation every night during the light show.

Manor House Bed and Breakfast, which is located in beautiful Tanglewood Park, is restored to reflect the gentility of the Victorian era. The William Johnson family constructed one section of the house in 1859, and when tobacco magnate William Neal Reynolds and his wife Kate bought the tract of land in 1921 to be their country estate, they added the remainder.

Entering our 27th season, Tanglewood's Festival of Lights continues to be one of the largest and most spectacular light shows in the entire Southeast.
Each year we make our show better and brighter with brand-new and improved light displays, a wide variety of vendors at Holiday gift Village, and even Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus themselves! We are so excited for you to join us this year in celebration of our favorite season!
Do your holiday shopping at the Gift Shop located at the Red Barn. The Gift Shop is located approximately halfway through the light show route. Here you will find holiday crafts, wood workings and other fine gifts made by local artisans. A pre-sale event will be held November 11th and November 12th from 10:00AM-4:00PM. During the show, the Gift Shop will close at 11:00PM Sundays-Thursdays and at 12:00AM on Fridays and Saturdays, with the exception of Sunday, December 31st when it will close at 10:00PM. An ATM is available inside.
