Family Fishing Clinic

Tanglewood Park will host the 2013 Family Fishing Clinic on Friday, July 19 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm noon. Pre-registration is required, so be sure to sign up today!

Find out what kinds of fish inhabit the lakes and ponds of Tanglewood and how to catch them. An instructor from the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission will be on-hand for this three-hour workshop to demonstrate proper baiting, casting, and catch-and-release techniques. Use fishing gear provided or bring your own.

The clinic is open to adults and children ages 5 and up.

Parents and/or guardians must remain with children at all times.

The workshop is free with the $2.00 per vehicle entrance fee into the park.

Bring your own sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and/or picnic lunch.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
