July Detention Staff Member of the Month

On July 29th, Pfc. Eckart conducted a routine cell search and discovered a small manila envelope that contained a letter from an inmate. The inmate had planned to escape from the LEDC, and the letter was left as confirmation of his escape. However, the inmate was unsuccessful in his attempt and was placed in maximum security with disciplinary status. Pfc. Eckart’s attention to detail and diligence in completing cell searches prevented an escape attempt form the LEDC. Congratulations Pfc. Eckart!
