July Detention Staff Member of the Month

On 07/08/12, while performing his duties in 4A housing, Ofc. Huskins observed several inmates showing an unusual interest in an ordinary jar of peanut butter. After further investigation, Ofc. Huskins discovered the jar of peanut butter had a cleverly hidden compartment containing marijuana. Due to Ofc. Huskins’ keen observation, attention to detail and due diligence, the illegal drugs were confiscated, criminal charges were brought against the accused and the safety and security of the Forsyth County Detention Center was upheld.

Detention Officer Huskins has been employed with the Detention Bureau since June of 2012. He is currently assigned to work in the facilities general population, dorms and control rooms. Congratulations Detention Officer Huskins!
