September Civilian Staff Member of the Month

The FCSO moved to its new location in September and was an enormous undertaking that required extensive planning by staff and Forsyth County Government. The Fleet/Procurement Section was responsible for facilitating all aspects of the move. Item labeling, scheduling security assignments and ensuring all areas of the Forsyth County Public Safety Center (FCPSC) were ready for occupancy. Property Specialist Amber Barnes was instrumental in assisting with all aspects of the Fleet/Procurement responsibilities.

Amber worked many nights and weekends with her supervision to make certain the move went smoothly. She was also responsible for guiding facility orientation tours for staff members, assignment of office keys and conducting quality assurance checks of the FCPSC. Amber completed these tasks in addition to her regularly assigned responsibilities. Due to Amber's unselfish commitment to the FCSO while maintaining a positive attitude, she is deserving of Civilian Staff Member of the Month.
