On June 19, 2018, Deputy II Eason was dispatched to a follow up investigation to a Breaking & Entering. During the investigation, he was able to identify a suspect vehicle and then able to identify the owner of the vehicle. Through further investigation, Deputy II Eason found where the suspect scrapped the exact items at a metal recycling center. By looking at video footage he was able to match the vehicle and the driver from the recycling center as the suspect from the Breaking & Entering. On June 28, 2018 Deputy Eason was allowed to take over as the primary case officer, and follow through with the investigation. Because of Deputy II Eason's thorough investigation, he was able to obtain 21 felony charges against the suspect in this case, thus bringing closure for the victim.

Deputy II Eason displayed true character and teamwork by how he conducted himself during this case and he went above and beyond by volunteering to take over the case and continuing the investigation.
