Altered Book Poetry for Teens

Enjoying poetry can be done on many different levels. You can read someone else’s work, hear poetry read by the author, or another reader or you can write your own verse. However, have you ever tried to construct a poem using someone else’s words? That’s what all teens are invited to do during our Altered Book Poetry program. We’ll take pages from old books and turn them into poems and art for display in Teen Central in April during National Poetry Month.

For more information call 703-3081.

Monday, April 5th, 4:00 pm, Central Library (Teen Central).
