Need Help with Computer Basics?

Got a new computer? Feeling overwhelmed and aren't sure how to get started? Need to learn how to email? No problem! The Clemmons Branch Library is offering free one-on-one computer training sessions Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to noon during May and June.

Meet with a volunteer to get help with basic computer skills and improve your confidence. Help is available in the following areas:

  • identifying & using the basic parts of a computer
  • using Internet Explorer, what it is and how to use it to search the Internet
  • navigating through basic Microsoft Office programs
  • how to use e-mail

If you own a laptop computer, please bring it with you. Sessions are for one hour and by appointment only. Call (336) 703-2920 to schedule your session. Clemmons Branch Library, May 5 – June 24 10 am to noon
