Lanterns of Hope & Summer Reading Finale

Join us for a celebration of culture, diversity, peace and understanding. We have had a fabulous Summer Reading Club and for our grand finale, we hope to see you at Summer on Trade (live music each Saturday evening on the corner of 6th St. & Trade Streets in downtown Winston-Salem). Come on out and make Japanese-style peace lanterns to promote peace and celebrate the multicultural essence of our community! This annual event is free and open to everyone. Just look for the hula hoops, chalk drawings, amazing balloon sculptures and our Bookmobile. Sponsored by the Hispanic League of the Triad and the Forsyth County Public Library.

Saturday evening of August 6th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Intersection of Trade and Sixth Streets , downtown Winston-Salem
