Looking for Trouble by Trice Hickman

The Sisterhood of Blackberry Corner by Andrea Smith

Fortune and Fame by Victoria Christopher Murray and ReShonda Tate Billingsley

The Devil Riding by Valerie Wilson Wesley

Family of Lies by Mary Monroe

And of course any titles by Kimberla Lawson Roby!

Please enjoy this review of the "Secret She Kept," by Reshonda Tate Billingsley, submitted by one of Senergy's members. This book dealt with a very difficult subject. But it is a subject that does not get enough focus and is generally dealt with in books and conversation in a humorous and dismissive manner. I admired the author for tackling this subject and putting a face to mental disorders that could belong to anyone's family members.

Although the subject is serious, the book is very easy to read and enjoyable with many varied characters. It portrays some of the real struggle that face someone dealing with a mental disorder and the struggle their friends and loved ones face in trying to help and understand them. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
