Film Series at Reynolda Manor Library

The winter weather caused us to cancel some of this series. Shakespeare in Love has been rescheduled for March 24.

As always, the movie programs at the library are free and open to the public.

March 24, at 6:30 pm.
Shakespeare in Love

In spite of having writer’s block, William Shakespeare must create a new play to save himself and the Rose Theater from financial disaster. In the midst of this struggle he falls in love with Viola, an aristocratic woman who is pretending to be a man so that she can be an actor in Shakespeare’s plays. This is an engaging romantic comedy. 1998, Rated R. Starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Joseph Fiennes, Geoffrey Rush and Judi Dench.
"An inordinately clever, sprightly romantic comedy." - New York Daily News.
"Pure enchantment." - New York Times.
"Sparkles with wit, literary smarts, passionate romance, and expert acting." - People Magazine.
Oscar winner for Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
