Afternoon Tea Book Club at Walkertown on Thursday, October 27th

“Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again…” Afternoon Tea Book Club will meet at the Walkertown Branch library for the first time on Thursday, October 27th, at 1 pm. The first Afternoon Tea Book Club selection is "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier. First published in 1938 and printed continuously ever since, this classic bestseller is a haunting tale of romantic suspense and jealousy. Du Maurier creates a gothic atmosphere that is perfect for Halloween.

Join us on the last Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm for a relaxed afternoon book discussion over tea and light snacks. An eclectic mix of mostly fiction with a bit of non-fiction will be sure to keep even the most voracious reader on their toes. A short survey at the first meeting will help guide future selections.

All are welcome to join us.
