The Short Story Society reads Roald Dahl

Thursday, April 6 at 4:00 pm at Corner's Coffee (5539 US-158 #103 in Advance, just down the road from the Clemmons Branch)

Roald Dahl is one of the world’s most beloved children’s authors, responsible for James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG among others. You might not be familiar with his adult fiction though, which is delightfully twisted! At our next meeting, the Short Story Society is going to talk about "Parson’s Pleasure" from his collection Kiss Kiss. Please join us!

The Short Story Society is dedicated to reading and discussing new and classic short stories. We always meet on the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm. All readers aged 15 and up are welcome. Please call Michael at 703-3054 for more details or to reserve a copy of the current story.
