Composting Workshop, June 24

At this workshop, you’ll learn to turn kitchen and yard waste into a valuable soil amendment for your garden! We’ll demonstrate how to build a compost bin from wood pallets, then discuss what to compost, how to construct and maintain a compost pile, and how to use the finished product.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Carver High School Garden (3545 Carver School Road).

Please register at: http://tinyurl.com/FCG-SGS or call 336-703-2850. To request Spanish interpretation, child care, or accommodations for persons with disabilities, please call 336-705-8823 by June 9, 2017. Please bring a lawn chair!
