LHS presents "The Old Nick Williams Company: a history" on July 10th at 6:30 pm

The Lewisville Historical Society will host the Williams Family, who owns the historic Old Nick Whiskey Company on Williams Road in Lewisville. The family will discuss the history of their legendary distillery, which started in the 1700s, and the current plans for their newly-reopened business, which had been closed for more than 100 years. The Old Nick Williams Company, Inc. was once known as one of the most revered brands of whiskey distillers in the United States, but the Prohibition era forced them to close their doors. The family has worked hard to bring back the company and the legend of "Old Nick". Memorabilia will be on display during the presentation.

This is a free event and open to the public.
