Forsyth County Public Library’s 2018 Teen Ink Contest

We are excited to announce the 2018 Teen Ink Contest. This year, to make the contest a bit more fair for our younger members, we’ve created two categories. One for middle school and high school students. We're looking for most interesting, original stories that will make us laugh, cry and see the world in a slightly different way. Winners in both groups will win a Barnes and Noble Gift Card.

Contest Rules

  • Submit up to three poems, song lyrics or 250-word short stories to any Forsyth County Public Library location between December 9th through 8 pm on March 19th 2018.
  • Must be in grades 6th-12th to participate.
  • Individuals can only win one prize in this contest
  • All submissions must be original works written by the teen submitting the entry
  • Each individual may submit up to three entries, only.
  • Entries may be edited for publication purposes.
  • Automatic disqualifications for derogatory or explicit language.

Entries may be published in a print chapbook commemorating the contest, as well as the FCPL webpage and Social Media channels.
