Forsyth 4-H Forestry Team Wins the State Competition AND Took Home the Top Three Individual Spots!

Forsyth County had six Juniors (youth ages 9-13) and one Cloverbud (youth ages 5-8) participate in the NC 4-H Forestry Contest. The team of Luke Arrowood, Ethan Cook, Zane Richardson, and Calleigh Wilson brought home first place Junior Team in the state. Forsyth County also earned the top 3 junior individual spots with Luke winning first, Calleigh second, and Zane third in a very tight race.

There were 21 competitors this year. Also attending were Ben Cook, Victoria Richardson, and Miriam Hofeling. The team is coached by 4-H Volunteer, Carla Arrowood.
