Community Meeting: Woodland Stewardship Plans at CG Hill Park

Forsyth County, in collaboration with the North Carolina Forest Service, is planning several woodland stewardship initiatives for CG Hill Park. We are hosting a community meeting to discuss the County’s woodland stewardship plans for the park and would appreciate your thoughts and input.

These initiatives include vegetation control for invasive species, timber management, and reforestation. An informal meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Media Center of Vienna Elementary School (1975 Chickasha Road, Pfafftown, NC 27040). Representatives from both the County and the North Carolina Forest Service will be on hand to discuss this project and answer any questions you may have.
