Synopsis and Discussion

Ozone and particle pollution levels remain slightly elevated and low code YELLOW, Tuesday. A backdoor cold front which settled just to the south of the area, Tuesday, will return as a warm front, Wednesday, with a more polluted air mass. Ozone will push into the mid code YELLOW range, Wednesday, while particle pollution remain low code YELLOW. A couple of weak disturbances may offer additional cloud cover and even a brief shower, Thursday, before a more substantial cold front pushes in from the west Friday. Ozone may drop back to low code YELLOW Thursday and Friday, while particle pollution returns to upper code GREEN both days (GENTRY).

These data represent the hourly data set from all of the sites within this network. Data from Triad sites outside of Forsyth County are collected by the North Carolina Division of Air Quality.
