This program you don't want to miss! Happy Beat Drumming of High Point, NC will be here at the Central Library to lead a FREE drumming circle for the community on Sunday, September 15th at 2pm. Drumming circles are an African tradition that are not only for ceremonial purposes but also to build community among people and to communicate across distances. This program requires registration, so please register early by calling 703-3026. The first 40 people will be guaranteed a drum to participate while others will be given smaller instruments. A special thanks to the Friend's of the Central Library for sponsoring this event for On The Same Page. This program is bound to be an exciting one, so register early!
