Art Show at Walkertown: Acrylic Paintings by Margaret Huntley Harrison

Walkertown Library will display Acrylic paintings by artist Margaret Huntley Harrison through March 2017. Love is a fundamental motivation behind her work, which includes colorful impressionistic landscapes and flowers. Ms. Harrison is a family therapist in Clemmons and Winston Salem. As an artist, she is represented by Hampton House Framing and Art in Winston Salem. All art works are for sale. Call 336-703-2990 for more information.

This public lecture will present a richly textured history of the legal and political factors that informed, obstructed, and finally cleared the way for desegregation in the North Carolina public education system. Presented by John E. Batchelor who is retired from the NC school system after thirty years as a teacher and administrator. Tuesday March 21, 2017 at 6:30 pm at Walkertown Branch library.
