Blind Date with a Book Winner at Walkertown

Congratulations to Grace Matulia, Walkertown Branch Library's Grand Prize winner of 2019 Blind Date with a Book program. Grace went on a blind date with a romance novel in February, for Valentine's Day. She soon realized that romance is not her favorite genre. Grace prefers fast-paced mysteries and historical fiction novels. But don't be sad, we randomly selected Grace's name from all who went on blind dates, and she won two movie tickets. She is excited about seeing a new movie at The Grand with her husband this weekend, she told us. She picked her prize yesterday at the library!

More than 40 people took part in this traditional Valentine Day month-long program. We thank everyone for participating and the Friends of the Walkertown Library for sponsoring the Grand Prize!
