Free Piano Concert: Pamela Howland "Chopin Meets Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing"

On Friday evening, September 30, acclaimed classical pianist Pamela Howland will perform at the Walkertown Branch Library in a unique piano concert, “Chopin Meets the Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing.” Her program will consist of Chopin selections paired with Beatles songs that she has arranged in Chopin-inspired style.


Food & Kids Documentary @ Walkertown

Join us Thursday, September 29th at 3 pm for an interesting documentary and discussion about kids & food politics. Filmed over the course of one year, What's On Your Plate follows two 11 yr old African-American city kids as they explore their place in the food chain. (NR) This is a great program for homeschoolers, but anyone can attend. No registration required. Light refreshments provided The Produce Box.
