Central Library Update

The new Central Library is nearing completion. While it looks finished from the outside, it's critical that the project is completed the right way. We expect to have a firm opening date by mid-August.


NC Room and Information Services Closed at Government Center

In preparation for moving into our space at the new Central Library, the NC Room and Information Services Department located at the Government Center have closed to the public. We look forward to seeing you in our new location in the near future.

Calling all girls and young ladies! STEM Gems Summer Virtual Book Club at Carver Library.

Join us on every Wednesday in June and July, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. for the STEM Gems, Summer Virtual Book Club at the Carver School Road Branch Library. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Each week meet a different STEM Gem in a career ranging from an Internet Gaming Technologist, to a Biostatistician, and from a Computational Biologist and Geneticist, to an Animation Technologist. Presentations given through teleconferencing.
