Through a Library Services and Technology Act grant the Forsyth County Public Library partners with United Way to employ a North Carolina certified Peer Support Specialist. The Peer Support Specialist is trained to work on-site daily at our Central Library directing people of our community to essential services such as housing assistance, medical services, mental health counseling and financial assistance.

The Peer Support Specialist is available for one-on-one meetings, both by appointment or walk-in. For more information, call (336) 703-2979 or email Jose Perez.
