Tanglewood Park - Family Shelter

Shelters must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Due to necessary preparation, we cannot accommodate requests for reservations less than 2 weeks prior to an event.

Other Notes	Bathrooms are closed until April 15, Guest may use Shelter# 1 Bathrooms. There is no parking next to shelter. All parking is located across the street in the Aquatic Center parking lot. The shelter is not handicap accessible. Charcoal is not provided. You may add a hayride to your event. Call the Tanglewood Stables at 336.766.9540 for more information or to schedule ride. The Family Shelter is available for rental starting April 1 and will close for the winter on October 31. Clients are permitted to bring their own food or use our on site caterer. No tape, nails or tacks allowed to be affixed to beams or walls. Each instance will result in an additional fee being charged. No rain dates are available. No sparklers, birdseed, confetti, rice, chalk or paint are allowed. Each instance will result in an additional fee being charged. Only waxless candles are permitted. No open flamed candles allowed. The event must end at the contracted time. If the client is not out of the facility by the contracted time, the client will be charged each hour stayed past the contracted time.
