June Detention Staff Member of the Month

Detention Officer E. Brown has been employed with the FCSO since February 2014.

On June 19th, while conducting a pat search on an inmate going to bible study, Detention Officer Brown located contraband. Seven pills were discovered wrapped in a brown paper towel inside of the inmate’s bible. The pills were later determined to be Vicodin.

Although the pills were issued by onsite medical staff, the inmate admitted to hoarding the pills instead of taking them as prescribed. Due to Detention Officer Brown’s thorough pat search, he was able to stop prescription medication from being distributed to other inmates.
