September Sworn Staff Member of the Month

Deputy D.R. Little has been assigned to the Field Services/Community Policing-Clemmons for a period of two months. He has been employed with the Sheriff`s Office for approximately 2 years.

During the months of August and September, multiple larcenies of lawn care equipment were reported in the Village of Clemmons. Investigations revealed a suspect vehicle description. All officers assigned to Clemmons patrolled the area daily attempting to locate the suspect.

Deputy Little was observing a shopping area during the lunch hour, which is when most of the larcenies occurred. He quickly recognized the suspect and vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the arrest of the suspect. Deputy Little is commended for his actions.
