Sheriff's Citizens Patrol

Training

Training for Citizens Patrol members consists of a 40-hour plus comprehensive Sheriff's Citizens Patrol Academy. Training will take place at the Sheriff's Administrative Building located at 120 West Third Street in downtown Winston-Salem. Training will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., for approximately 10 weeks. There is a possibility of some Saturday training. There will be a graduation ceremony following completion of the training.

  • Canine Team
  • Fingerprinting
  • CPR Certification
  • Harassment in the Workplace
  • Jail Tour
