TERMINATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY

WHEREAS on March 13, 2020, as the Chairman of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners, I determined and declared that a State of Emergency existed within Forsyth County, North Carolina, because of the rapid spread and danger of COVID-19, which declaration was amended on March 27, 2020; and

WHEREAS in the intervening two years, effective vaccines and testing have been developed, causing the COVID-19 pandemic to ebb, and I have, therefore, determined that the conditions constituting a State of Emergency no longer exist in Forsyth County;

NOW, THEREFORE, I hereby terminate the above-referenced declaration of a State of Emergency and all the restrictions and orders contained therein.

DECLARED this the 11th day of March, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.

David R. Plyler
Chairman of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners
