Synopsis and Discussion

Code Green AQI readings are being observed across the area today but there are some pockets of fine particle concentrations approaching the Code Green/Yellow threshold. A cold front will sweep through later today, ushering in a clean air mass for tomorrow. Forecast trajectories indicate that we will begin to get more of a maritime influence on the air mass for Friday and Saturday that will help limit ozone production and keep air quality Good.
