All FCPL branches will be closed Friday (3/30) and Sunday (4/1) in observance of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We will be open on Saturday (3/31) during our regular Saturday hours.
The Central Library was in good company on Feb. 28, 2018 when it received an award from the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership for excellence in improving downtown. During the partnership's annual meeting Mayor Allen Joines presented the award to library director Sylvia Sprinkle Hamlin who thanked the community for embracing their 21st century library.
