The American Red Cross will be on-site at the Lewisville Branch Library on Thursday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Paint at the Lewisville Branch using the technique of acrylic pouring on Tuesday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. Local artist and instructor Amy Guerrini will demonstrate this unique technique and help participants create their own works of art. Class will be held outdoors adjacent to the library parking lot on the front lawn of the G. Galloway Reynolds Community Center. Paint supplies will be provided. Registration is required as class size and supplies are limited to 12 participants.
Stop by for a wood carving demonstration at the Lewisville Branch Library on Wednesday, June 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. Accomplished carvers from the Triad Woodcarvers Club will demonstrate their craft and share information about the club. A primary goal of the club is to promote the art and joy of carving as well as to educate carvers through group carving sessions, seminars, classes, and other activities. This program is recommended for adults, teens, and families. Walk-ins welcome.
