All Forsyth County Public Libraries will be closed Monday, May 29th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 30th at regular hours.


Monday Morning Movie @ Walkertown on June 19th at 10am

Join us for our Monday Morning Movie on Monday, June 19th at 10 am to view Sing, produced Illumination Entertainment. In a town with no humans, just animals, a koala named Buster Moon realizes he will soon lose his theater if he cannot turn his luck around. He comes up with a plan to host a singing competition, where the winner will receive $100,000. Will this be enough to return his theater to glory? (PG)


Summer Reading Programs For Kids and Teens at Walkertown!

A lot of fun events for Kids of all ages are coming to the Walkertown Branch library this Summer! We promise this Summer will not be boring! Take a Photography workshop, or get involve in planting and tending to the Children's Learning Garden by the library. Watch The Professor Whizzpop Magic Show, or read your favorite book to a therapy dog. Don't miss everyone's favorite Balloon Lady, and read a lot of books too. Kids, bring your parents along to the library!


Morning Tea Book Club at Walkertown meets on Thursday, June 8th, at 11 am

June’s Walkertown Library Morning Tea Book Club selection is "Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore" by Robin Sloane. This novel follows Clay Jannon as he begins work in a peculiar San Francisco bookstore that attracts odd customers and sells even stranger books. As Clay learns more, a mysterious world that intersects technology and books begins to emerge. Thursday, June 8th, at 11 am at Walkertown Branch library.
