If you are the victim of a crime please report the offense as soon as practical by calling our Communications Section at 336-727-2112. A deputy will respond to your location and start the investigative process by filing a report. If you need immediate assistance or you’re involved in an emergency, please dial 911.

Lieutenant Jordan S. Dowd began his Law Enforcement career in 1995. He was promoted to Deputy Sheriff four (4) months after his start date. Lieutenant Dowd received several promotions throughout his career with his last promotion as Lieutenant on February 5, 2022.
