On Monday, March 23, 2015, Detention Officer Bauguess was in the process of conducting a security tour in 4B dormitory. While observing his area, he noticed a black object wedged between the stair case and wall going to the mezzanine level. He retrieved the object and noticed that it was a black comb altered to make a potential weapon. The comb's end was very sharp and could have been used as a knife.

Detention Officer Bauguess has been employed with the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center since August of 2014. His attention to detail prevented possible injury to other officers or an inmates.
