Legal Aid of North Carolina holds free monthly or quarterly clinics on common legal issues all around the state. The clinics educate people about their legal rights and, in some cases, empower them to file certain legal actions without a lawyer. Participants can also ask general questions of volunteer attorneys. Clinics are free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. Call 1-866-219-5262 (toll-free) or visit legalaidnc.org/get-help to register.
