Free Tech help with the instructor Carol Haskins from Forsyth Training Bridge. The purpose of this program is to help you with any computer task - from how to turn a computer on to using programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Learn Email and Facebook. Get better equipped for a job or learn to use your own laptop, tablet or cell phone with help of an experienced instructor. Please register.

Did you know that there’s a book sale every day at the Walkertown Library? We get a lot of donations from our generous patrons, and the Friends organize it into our wonderful book sale. The stock changes every day, as we do a brisk business! Donations accepted starting Monday, October 22.

Meditation for a More Peaceful & Healthy Life for Adults with Ann McCarty at Walkertown November 28

Join experienced Mindfulness instructor Ann McCarty and learn how to lower stress and be present to whatever comes your way. This free one-hour mindfulness meditation class is on Wednesday, Nov. 14 & 28, 10 am. Through sitting and walking meditation exercises, Ms. McCarty will instruct attendees on how they can skillfully meet life’s difficulties through breathing and mindful movement.

Walkertown Branch Library is excited to offer a variety of programs for Kids and Teens in November. Kids (and accompanying caregivers) can come to Storytime, dance with us at Music and Movement, or have free coloring sheets! Teens can learn chemistry by making Slime, become volunteers, or come play games. Choose what interests you!
