Did you know that there’s a book sale every day at the Walkertown Library? We get a lot of donations from our generous patrons, and the Friends organize it into our wonderful book sale. The stock changes every day, as we do a brisk business! Donations accepted starting Monday, October 22.
Join experienced Mindfulness instructor Ann McCarty and learn how to lower stress and be present to whatever comes your way. This free one-hour mindfulness meditation class is on Wednesday, Nov. 14 & 28, 10 am. Through sitting and walking meditation exercises, Ms. McCarty will instruct attendees on how they can skillfully meet life’s difficulties through breathing and mindful movement.
Walkertown Branch Library is excited to offer a variety of programs for Kids and Teens in November. Kids (and accompanying caregivers) can come to Storytime, dance with us at Music and Movement, or have free coloring sheets! Teens can learn chemistry by making Slime, become volunteers, or come play games. Choose what interests you!
